Wakeboard Camp coach extraordinaire, Bob Sichel, has been hard at work this year. Not only has he taught many people new spins, flips, and grabs at the camp, he’s also been riding hard!
The proof of his hard work is in the video below. Watch as Bob rides on our Florida lakes as well as the cool cable waterways of California. Nice work Bob!
Many of our campers over the summer this year, and back between 2008-2010, had the chance to meet Bec Gange. Over the past many years, she has coached, cooked, and ridden for our campers. We still remember when she first came to The Wakeboard Camp. She didn’t say too much with words back then, but her riding spoke loudly enough, and when we saw her ride, we knew she had something special.
Recently, Bec showed everybody what she can do on her board at the Supra sponsored Wakeboard World Championships by winning first place! Right next to Bec on that podium in second place was Amber Wing. Amber has been coaching at the camp for years as well. She is a former World Champion as well as Queen of Wake. Be sure to come down to the camp next year to get a chance to interact with world-class athletes.

Each of these great female wakeboarders just took two of the podium spots at this past weekend’s World Cup as well. Great job Bec and Amber, keep up the great riding!

Hello to all our friends! The Wakeboard Camp has recently moved to a new location. We are still in Clermont, and on the same chain of lakes, but now we are on the West shore of Lake Minnehaha.
Here is our new main building. Just behind it is the lake.
We’re excited about the new location. Inside this door, you’ll find the board room, where we keep all of our Liquid Force gear. Bindings, wakeboards, wakeskates, life vests, ropes, and anything else to help you learn more out there on the water!
Look at all those wakeboards and bindings to choose from!
We now have a dock attached to the camp building, so we get to drive right up to the camp and walk back into the cool, air conditioned building. This also means you don’t have to run across the scalding hot sand in the summer. You can still enjoy the sandy beach of course.
Just leaving the dock to go do some learning.
